As an avid golfer and fisherman, Norman enjoys the lifestyle at Amelia Island Plantation. He and his wife, Jane are residents of the Plantation and have two grown children, Ben and Melinda, and three grandchildren, Brayden, Connor and Evan and one on the way. Joe came on board as a Chef and has served in various roles in the Hospitality Division lastly in the position of Director of the Amelia Island Club. In 2002 he assumed the role of Real Estate Sales Executive. Working in tandem with AIP Sales Executive, Katie Burgess and with the aid of capable Administrative Assistant, Debbie Mahon, Joe is confident in their ability to meet and exceed the needs of buyers and sellers on Amelia Island Plantation. Joe resides in a turn of the century home in the historic district of Fernandina Beach on Amelia Island. Katie Burgess is an Amelia Island native who grew up in the historic district in a Victorian home built by her great grandfather, Dr. D.G. Humphreys. After graduating from Fernandina, Katie attended Florida State University and received a Bachelor's degree in Information Studies and completed her Master's degree via distance learning while living in Montgomery, AL. Katie then moved to Washington, DC/Northern Virginia and worked for the Heritage Foundation and later as an Executive Assistant to a retired four star general, U.S. Army. Valuing the quality of life and warm weather that Amelia Island offers, she moved back home to be close to her family. Katie began her real estate career as a licensed sales assistant to Joe Cutajar at AIP before being asked by Executive Vice President and Broker Norman Bray to assume the role of Real Estate Sales Executive. AIP has always played an important part in Katie's life as her family owned property on AIP and she was fortunate to spend her childhood enjoying the resort activities. Katie enjoys golf, fishing, yoga, walking on the beach, watching football, and spending time with her friends and family. |
